Phew! Im getting back into the swing of things after taking a break this summer to tie the knot myself! It was a WONDERFUL day and I will blog about it for you later this week!
Im really excited to post the engagment photos for Kristen and Kyle that I shot a few weeks ago! This couple has been incredibly patient with me over the last few weeks waiting for their images. Which I was happy to deliver to Kristen at her sister-in-law (to be)’s wedding this weekend! It was at the wedding where Kristen shared with me that the two of them were moving to Milan, Italy. The very next day!! Yes, really. Turns out Kyle plays hockey competitively and the two of them met down in the USA while going to college. He has avidly been pursuing his hockey career which is now taking them to Europe. And Kristen couldn’t be more excited, “shopping, pasta, sight seeing and wine…get me on that airplane!” Kristen and Kyle are such a gorgeous couple, full of love and contagious energy I am looking forward to hearing all about the adventures they will have over there, including their own wedding next year!
Best of luck you two!

Hi everyone, just a quick note to let you know that I will be away for the next two weeks for my own wedding! M and I can hardly wait to see all our family and friends, we are really excited! I will respond to all emails once I return and I thank you for all your patience. I worked really, really hard to wrap up most of my shoots before I took off but came up short. I apologize! And since a post is not complete without a photo I’m going to post one for a girl who’s been SUPER patient with me. Here’s a shot from a really special engagment session with her man and her pup!
See you in a couple of weeks!!

I had a great night on July 4th, visiting Veranda Beach in Oroville WA. A quaint little beach community, with a vintage twist definately takes you back in time. And strangely reminded me a little of Wisteria Lane from that show Desperate Housewives! All the lawns are perfectly groomed, white picket fences, even the wooden patio doors make that old fashioned and distinct “slam” when you shut them. What a neat place to stay for July long weekend! The Dundas family called Veranda Beach home for a few nights as they gathered to celebrate Denise and Rick’s wedding anniversary! We had a nice evening wandering around throughout the property laughing and snapping away. With street names such as barefoot and flip flop how could you not love this relaxing little lakeside getaway?? Malcolm came too and got to talk fishing with Liam while the little girls marveled at my camera and I snapped a few candids. As we wrapped up the shoot Denise invited us to stay for BBQ dinner…YUM! What a wonderful night thanks again!
