Never have I ever….taken pictures of a lil’ guy as expressive as this one!  Pouts, giggles, flirtatious smiles, you name it we covered it. Little Jasper was first in front of my lense at just 14 days old. An old pro he is and now that he has turned one year old, it was time to get some new photos taken! After a short walk in the park and a quick change into his Halloween costume (ummm cutest monkey ever!), we stumbled upon the yellowest orchard in town for a few more family shots.

M and I met Mark and Rae almost 2 years ago now, when friends of our invited us to visit their church on “Friend Day”. We met lots of awesome new people that day and began to visit Livingway Church on a more regular basis. Now we have a blast every Friday night with the Youth Group as we help to organize and co-ordinate events! (I blogged about the youth HERE).  Mark and Rae were with us step-by-step as we prepped for our marriage, and continue to be a huge support for the two of us. Rae and I often talked about photographs as she has a keen interest on the subject and was long over due for some fun, new family photos. This ridiculously good looking family packs big time personality and big time FUN! I love this family! They are excited about life, passionate about their love for Jesus, highly energetic and after spending and afternoon with them…I dare you to keep up!

PS. Check out Rae’s awesome write-up about our photoshoot and the strength of family. Its called “Picture THIS” that ran in the Oliver paper a few weeks ago! HERE

Diane and I messaged back and forth many times trying to nail down the timing and location for this special family session. Dodging hectic schedules and rain drops we managed to secure a perfect morning for photos. We lucked out with a awesome location full of bright fall colors, snaggly snarly bushes and only a few little cactus! I watched as she chased Brody around, snuggled him, told him make-believe stories involving his hero Buzz LightYear and watched him erupt into fits of giggles!  As we walked around snapping photos of her and her family we chatted about her success story. Diane has much to be proud of and wanted to document a milestone in her life. This girl has committed herself to improving her self image and getting healthy and has dropped nearly half her size since starting her mission. amazing.   half  her  size.  Wowza, high fives girly! I have to say her transformation has left her looking fabulous, wouldn’t you say??  What a great achievement and I was more than happy to snap some special photos for her.  Thanks for the awesome morning!!
