Element Photography

On Saturday Liza and I had the joy of meeting and spending a few hours getting to know Sarah + Jonathan! And we love pretty much everything about them. Impeccable style, laid back attitudes and up for anything. We wandered around Horizon’s restaurant on Burnaby Mountain chatting about their wedding plans and sharing stories of summer life in Osoyoos.  I was reminded why I love this job so much and how great it feels when clients become friends.

Thanks for the wonderful afternoon you two and we look forward to seeing you again, soon! 3 and a half months is it?

Caitlin + Sean made a journey over to Vancouver Island to meet me for their engagment session photos! They flew into Bird’s Eye Cove Farm and booked a cabin for the weekend. Sounds great right? It was a super location for a relaxing break from the busy lower mainland and also a fantastic location for a photo session. Had so much fun chasing chickens with them and watching them get cuddly in the moss!

Caitlin + Sean are sweet as can be and are planning their wedding for this July in Osoyoos, BC at the beautiful Spirit Ridge Vineyard and Spa.

You may recall element photography’s most famous couple…M + M! Gracing the element photography blog with their stunningly good looks in a spontaneous love session in 2009 (technically not engaged at this point), their lovely June 2011 wedding, and many just for fun snaps of life, with me, with Mitch and of just Michelle in between!  At 8 months pregnant Michelle made the trip to Victoria to catch up with her sister Nat and myself for a much needed break before baby arrives in May. She is ever-so-fabulous and showing off her baby bump with such great style. As we walked and shopped the inner Harbour it was so fun for me to see all the people who would smile at her in passing, ask her “when are you due” – May, “do you know what you are having” – girl (!!).

3 final outfits – 3 great locations – shopping – ice cream – healthy meals – triplet baby lambs – Coombs Market – Cowichan Bay – ice cream – s’mores on the beach – getting dolled up – laughs – quality conversation – instagram – great girls weekend

She’s cute, I love her and can’t wait to meet the wee babe in just a few weeks!

It was a gorgeous sunny day in the colorful little town of Chemainus when I met up with Amanda, Chris and their family! A + C were in town to visit his mom and brother with the newest and smallest member of their family, Dace! Amanda + Chris recently located to Osoyoos, BC where I used to live and we juuuust missed each other by a few weeks. I learned from Amanda that we were nearly neighbours! Im so happy they tracked me down on Van Isle to capture the sweetness of their little one and their awesome family!  Amanada + Chris are planning a wedding for 2013 and couldn’t be happier :  )
