Just a little notice to readers that October is booked in full, still some availability in early November. Im thinking we will have late fall color well into November  - as you can see so far not much has changed! Drop me an email if your interested in booking a session!

Its been a busy fall so far I can hardly keep up with myself! We can check Thanksgiving off the list, and my first destination wedding – just home from a gorgeous Maui! Last wedding of the 2011 season too! Amazing to reflect on the last couple months, I cant believe I was able to shoot eight weddings from May to October! Incredible growth and experiences for me meeting so many fantastic couples and their families along the way! Thank you so so much to everyone who has commented on my blog page, shared, read one of my features on other blogs, and liked element on facebook. I cannot express how much I appreciate your support! Looking ahead the rest of October is jam packed with fun filled family sessions and then life will slow down again, and for that I am thankful too. My hubby misses me and it will be nice to settle back into a routine!

Little Marina only 12 days old for her first photo shoot! My youngest model yet : ) She preformed exceptionally sleeping for almost the entire shoot! She didnt even mind her mom switching her in and out of her outfits one bit. In fact I think she kind of liked it a little. The little girl has more clips, bows, and hairpieces than I do. What a doll! It was a super relaxing afternoon with Danielle and Brad chatting away about there first 2 weeks with a newborn in the home. Everyone is adapting to the changes and doing great! Marina is even making appearances with her mom at the office every once and a while!  Thanks for the fun afternoon, on to the photos : )

PS. the fun polka dot blanket is made by Lil’ Bo Peeps - Baby Boutique and can be found at Bloom

Beautiful little Bella is turing ONE this month. Amazing how the grow and how time flies! M and I cooked up a delicious breakfast my great and long-time friends Shelley, Randy and Bella when we were home for the holidays. Miss B for breakfast she preferred to eat the grapes, only grapes and lots of them. And that was fine by the rest of us she’s so darn cute she can have whatever she likes for breakfast! I had my camera with me and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture one of my favorite girls just before her big birthday! So here are a few impromptu snaps from the morning! Happy Birthday baby girl xo

Never have I ever….taken pictures of a lil’ guy as expressive as this one!  Pouts, giggles, flirtatious smiles, you name it we covered it. Little Jasper was first in front of my lense at just 14 days old. An old pro he is and now that he has turned one year old, it was time to get some new photos taken! After a short walk in the park and a quick change into his Halloween costume (ummm cutest monkey ever!), we stumbled upon the yellowest orchard in town for a few more family shots.

A few works in progress…

A loooong time ago (okay early Summer not like pre-conceived notions..) I got a sweet little email from my university pal Nadine asking me to snap a few photos over Thanksgiving weekend of her little guy Daniel and family!  Two thumbs up for planning ahead, and of course I was excited to meet her new baby.  Turns out Daniel is a baby that is all business.  Quite the serious little fella he is. It sure made us giggle watching his expressions!  We had a great time catching up over a cup of tea, playing with Daniel, and enjoying the view from her in-laws beautiful Osoyoos home. Thanks again for the great afternoon!

coming soon!

Filed under bambinos, family, just for fun, she said yes!

October has been such an amazing month! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, gorgeous warm fall weather, crispy leaves, bonfires on the beach, delish’ turkey dinner with great friends, colorful mountainsides and wine fest. Throw in a couple of  canoodling couples and cute bambinos to photograph and that sums up  a pretty awesome month!

Here is a itty bitty sneak peek of what you will see in the coming weeks!

Meet the McLeans! Kirsten and Len joined me a few weeks ago relaxed as could be, anticipating the arrival of there new little baby.  Coming in just 4 quick days from that shoot! Meanwhile there little guy Brody tore up the play ground, laughing, making friends, and teaching me how to tie his shoes. As he grabbed the ends of two laces and punched them randomly into the air. Too cute!  We wandered around the playground chatting about how their summer was, if they had the nursery ready and what they had been up too lately. Brody, at two years old was not one to slow down he had me chasing him all over the park to capture his sneaky little grin. Great morning of fun and a few snaps to show off! Congratulations to you both, Im looking forward to meeting your little bundle soon!

I wanted to take a quick opportunity to show off the latest creation of mine! A trendy album I designed to use as a guest book at our recent wedding!  All the gorgeous photos are thanks to the lovely lovely Jamie Delaine, and if you haven’t checked out our e-session or wedding photos you can see them HERE!

The album has a sleek design and modern look to it. The cover is acyrlic and showcases one of my favorite images from our e-session. I especially love the nice thick pages and the way the spreads lie perfectly flat when you open up the book. No picture is lost in the seem!  All images are flushmount meaning they are designed as full page spreads and then printed onto high quality paper! The album is also delivered in a simple black leather box for safe keeping. But I think I’ll leave it on the coffee table for a little while longer! The guest book worked perfectly for us and now we have an awesome photo album complete with words of love and support from our family and friends!
